The most important measure of the YMCA
is the impact it has on the lives of the people and communities
it serves. Together, these diverse groups find a place
of welcome and belonging at the YMCA of Western North
Carolina- an organization that builds strong kids, strong
families and strong communities. Through our four branches,
three satellite childcare sites and 200-plus programs
throughout the community, the YMCA positively impacts people
of all ages, races, faiths and economic backgrounds.

• Expand existing and initiate new mutually beneficial collaborative relationships with other organizations that share the vision of the YMCA.
• Provide YMCA programs and services for under-served and low-income individuals and families.
• Expand existing programs and develop new programs to address the needs of school-aged children including teens and their families helping them to grow in spirit, mind and body.
• Recruit, develop, retain and reward a diverse and highly-effective team of staff capable of leading in the priority areas.
