AfterSchool Registration Fee:
$35 per child
$50 per family

AfterSchool 2:30 PM-6 PM
5 Days - $55 Bank Draft
5 Days - $60 Other payment methods
3 Days - $36 Any payment method or state voucher parent fee plus any amount not covered by voucher.

Weekly automatic bank or credit card (VISA or MasterCard) draft is available.

Teacher Workdays, Holidays, Spring Break 7:00 AM - 6 PM

Pre-registration required. Times and locations will be posted on WLOS and the YMCA website.

All YMCA AfterSchool Programs are North Carolina state licensed and child care subsidy vouchers are accepted.

Buncombe County School employees receive a 25% Discount.

No payments will be collected at the afterschool sites.

Payments are accepted at any YMCA of WNC Branch, at the YMCA Child Care Services Office, By Mail, By Weekly Automatic Bank Draft (through checking account, Visa, or Mastercard), or Online (see instructions below).

Online Payment Instructions:

Go to www.ymcawnc.org and click on the CHECK OUT OUR PROGRAMS ONLINE link at the bottom. Read the instructions and click "Register for Programs" to continue. For the first time login, please enter the CHILD'S last name, First name, and Parent's email address. The password is the first initial followed by the last initial and the birth date (mmddyy). Once logged in, choose Child Care branch and "My Rosters."  There should be a balance due option to view what is owed currently, and a link to pay that balance with a credit card.

Registration must be completed at least one week prior to attending first day of afterschool
program, holidays, spring break, teacher work days, and snow days.

Registration Options:

Option 1: Register in person at any YMCA of Western North Carolina location.

Option 3: Register on-line at www.ymcawnc.org- All additional information listed below must be submitted by mail or in person to complete your registration.

* Once registered using any of the above options, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you. If you do not receive confirmation prior to the first day of attendance, your application is not complete, and you are required to contact the YMCA.

Registration Requirements

In order to complete your registration you must provide:

• A copy of each child’s immunization records and medical records.
• A completed and signed registration packet.
• A non-refundable registration fee.
• A non-refundable payment for the first week of attendance.
  If paying by check, please include your child’s name and school name
  on your check.
• a recent color photo of child.
• A voided check or credit card number including expiration date (VISA or MasterCard only) if
  you choose the automatic draft payment option.
• If applicable...a completed YMCA financial assistance application with three recent
  pay stubs OR your most recent tax forms OR a child care subsidy voucher through Buncombe County Child Care Services.
• A valid copy of your child care services voucher, if you are currently eligible for a
  subsidy.
• A complete request for transfer voucher form, if applicable.

Financial Assistance

THE YMCA IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING SUBSIDY VOUCHERS FROM BUNCOMBE COUNTY CHILD CARE SERVICES. Please contact Buncombe County Child Care Services Subsidy Unit at 828-250-6700 for more information on the subsidy program. The YMCA does have limited resources available to provide financial assistance, but it is a requirement that you apply for subsidy first through Buncombe County Child Care Services.
