Referee/Court Attendant

Job Location: Reuter Family YMCA

Under the direction and guidance of the Sports Manager and consistent with the mission of the YMCA and the policies and guidelines of the YMCA of Western North Carolina, the Referee/Court Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional and outstanding service and assistance to YMCA members and potential members. The Referee/Court Attendant is a highly visible representative of the YMCA mission, theme, and character development values. He/she is accountable for knowing and properly executing all YMCA policies and procedures. The Referee/Court Attendant is also responsible for knowing the basic sport rules of basketball, soccer, and T-Ball.

Climbing Wall Instructor

Job Location: Corpening Memorial YMCA

The climbing wall instructor will be asked to plan, supervise and promote safety in all adventure programming areas. Provide a safe yet educational and fun experience for all ages utilizing adventure programming space. Incorporate values education components consistent with YMCA 4 core values and program standards. Maintain cleanliness of adventure programming space. Report and document malfunction of any and all equipment and/or facilities. Enforce policies and procedures of Adventure Department, which may require conflict resolution

Job Location: Woodfin YMCA

Under the direction of the Youth Development Coordinator, and consistent with the Christian Mission of the YMCA, the Homeschool PE instructor is responsible for delivering the highest level of youth PE and sports related programming to YMCA members, guests, and program participants through leadership, direction and development of said programs.

Youth Development Manager-Sports

Job Location: Asheville YMCA

Youth Development manager-Sports is responsible for the effective operation of the Sport Program Department. This includes but is not limited to: program operation, program developemnt and growth, partciipant satisfaction, participant and members retention, community collaborations, and staff supervision. Must be 21 years of age or older, with previous experience in soccer, basketaball, t-ball, field hockey, lacrosse and programming.
