The YMCA of WNC Endowment Program

Your planned gift is for the next generation, a catalyst in perpetuating the work of the YMCA to make our community a safe and healthy place for children, families, teens and adults to live. You may leave a lasting legacy in several ways.

The Heritage Club is a special group of people who believe in the mission and work of the YMCA of Western North Carolina and who want to ensure that the valuable life-changing programs and services will continue for future generations.  Each member of the Heritage Club has included the YMCA in his/her estate plan and /or made a financial gift to the endowment fund of a minimum of $1,000. For more information about becoming a member of the Heritage Club, click here to view the Heritage Club Brochure.

Permanent Named Funds are endowment gifts totaling $10,000 memorialized by name:

Phil Sales, Joe Mongovis and John Abbott were all committed historical supporters of the work of the YMCA. Each of these gentlemen and their families honored the YMCA with a generous gift upon their passing.  These substantial gifts are the foundation of the endowment fund.

Charlotte Carlisle, who we sadly lost in 2007, was recognized by family and friends for her passion for YMCA work with teens.

Pat and Angie Vest, YMCA retirees who have made numerous contributions in honor of family and life events.
