The YWNC Piranhas Swim Team promotes the YMCA mission to put Christian principles into practice through a program that builds a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Competitive swimming offers many opportunities to develop the YMCA's core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. In addition, the program emphasizes team commitment, self-discipline and working toward high standards in and out of the pool.

The YWNC Piranhas participate in both USA Swimming and YMCA Swimming, providing opportunities for all levels of competitive swimming.
