Programs at the YMCA

On the surface, the YMCA may seem to be a place to go, a facility, a building, but it is much more than that. Through YMCA programs we become more than a place to go, we are a place to grow. At the Y, there's something for every age, shape and ability. As with all YMCA programs, financial assistance is available.

Financial Assistance is supported in part through contributions to the YMCA’S Strong Kids Campaign.

Swimming is terrific exercise for all ages and an important safety skill. The Y offers programs such as swim lessons, water fitness, competitive swimming, and lifeguard certification classes. These programs help people feel safe and comfortable in the water, from babies to seniors and every age and skill level in between.

From swimming and craft projects, to field trips and homework, the Y offers programs for school-age children that challenge their imagination, creativity and leadership. Best of all, you can be sure that while your kids are exploring new ways to have fun at Summer DayCamp, AfterSchool, or Parents' Night Out, they are being well cared for at a safe, enjoyable place that will strengthen your family, both while you're at work and when you're all together.

In today's world, children and their parents rarely have time to spend together - to laugh, to talk, to really get to know each other and become friends. YMCA programs such as Adventure Guides are designed to help children and parents communicate through fun activities while building understanding and mutual respect
