Programs and Ages
School-age child care at the YMCA builds self-esteem, values, and leadership skills. You’ll know your children are growing and exploring their potential—they’ll think they’re just having fun. The YMCA offers North Carolina 4 & 5 star-rated, licensed programs designed for ages 5-12 that are based on the YMCA's four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
We also offer a convenient and cost-saving year-round child care option that includes afterschool care AND summer camp.
Financial assistance is available based on need and available funds. The financial assistance application can be downloaded here. For details about afterschool, you can also download our Parent Handbook in English here. La Manual del Programa en español está aquí.
The best part of our programs are the children we serve each day.
