Asheville YMCA Repairs

We’re excited to share updates on our progress as we wrap up interior repair work caused by significant hail damage a few weeks ago. Thank you for your continued patience and support!

• The Multi-Purpose Room, Youth Development Center, and North Pool will reopen on Monday, June 2.
• The Youth Development Center will still operate out of the downstairs Youth Lounge until then.
• The Multi-Purpose Room will be functional, but there are still some final repairs that are scheduled for later in June. These will include refinishing the floors and replacing ceiling tiles, which will require another temporary room closure. We will do our best to reschedule programming to minimize disruptions.
• The hallway to the studio is now open, and the racquetball stairs are accessible.

A huge thank you to our Properties team for their diligence in getting us reopened ahead of schedule! And thank you to our members for your continued grace and understanding as we’ve worked to restore these spaces.
