School's Out Camps

The Y is a working parent's best friend. When school's out for winter or spring break, teacher work days, or other one-off holidays, the Y is in with all-day, fun active child care. It's a win-win. There's no "I'm bored!" from the kids, and you don't have to stress while you're at work.

Half Day Camps

Camp Kiddos

Camp Kiddos is a half-day camp where kids will be introduced to the structure of camp through arts and crafts, science, water safety, and sports. Camp Kiddos will allow kids to experience new things and be themselves in a safe and secure setting.

CIT Program

Counselors-in-Training (CITs) will learn leadership and basic job skills in a fun camp environment. Field trips, lock-ins, and time with friends are high points of the CIT experience. Open to ages 12-15.

Extreme Adventure Camp

Offsite, field-trip based camp for the true outdoor enthusiast. All campers must be able to pass a swim test and be ready to hike, swim, and explore the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Adventure Camp

Adventure Camp is an off-site, field trip-based camp for the true outdoor enthusiast. All campers must be able to pass a swim test and be ready to hike, swim, and explore the Blue Ridge Parkway. Open to children ages 9-12.

Discovery Camp

Located in Buncombe and McDowell counties, our Discovery Camps offer licensed childcare to rising first through sixth graders. Campers participate in theme based weeks exploring Arts, Science and Sports.

Explorer Camp

Time to get outside! Explorer Camp is a traditional outdoor adventure day camp. Activities include archery, high and low ropes, gardening, forestry, field trips, and more. Open to rising kindergarteners through sixth graders.
